Honoring AAA tradition, the first part was a free art walk merging local artists with the over 65 galleries, boutiques, and other establishments on The Avenue. A trolley escorted guests along the route.
The second part was the addition of a Coachella-style festival, happening in the 7,500-person capacity Adams Recreation Center. The AAA Festival featured three stages spotlighting the best in San Diego performance, from music to stand-up comedy to blacklight theatre. The Festival is a fundraiser to maintain the activity programs at the Adams Recreation Center.
